D-Jaw is the alias Dan Bartholomew, a DJ, Producer and Record Label Owner from London. Dan started his career as a DJ and his tracks reflect this, they are usually bass driven, groove focused and aim to create an impact.

His current style is heavily influenced by the genres he grew up listening to, in particular US House and Speed Garage which had a grip on London during the mid 90's. He tries to merge those ideas with modern production techniques associated with current House and Techno.

Dan is also fascinated with House and Disco tracks from the mid 80’s to early 90’s. Although his main style is underground House music, he often plays extended sets of tracks from this era and often throws on something special to round off a modern House set.

During his DJ career he has played at most of London's iconic venues, from seOne to Herbal, Ministry of Sound to Public life and numerous warehouse spaces along the way. He also spent a number of seasons DJ'ing abroad on the Greek Islands.

In 2013 he realized a dream and launched his own label BYBL Records and quickly signed a number of artists from the UK, America and Moscow. After taking a short break to create a backlog of music, Dan has several releases lined up for BYBL and other labels whilst pushing his monthly label parties in London and radio show on Hoxton FM.

DJ's Dan played on the same bill as, followed and warmed up for include:

Todd Terry, Groove Armada, Leeroy Thornhill, Jazzy Jeff, Paul Reynolds, Shapeshifters, Fabio & Grooverider, 2BadMice

Some labels he has released on:

BYBL Records, Crossworld Records, Purple Sun Records Plus Plus, and Over Recordings

Growing up playing drum and bass and garage Luke has many influences stretching across a range of genres, his main style now being House.

Playing all things house he likes to fill sets with disco and funky grooves to keep the crowd interested but also brings a deep and tech house flavour for a more energetic set.

Luke has an array of experience under his belt and has had success playing both at home and abroad, a highlight of which was a season in Ibiza playing boat parties, warm up parties and bars around San Antonio.

Also back home having played places like Pasha, Warehouse and Cable to name a few he feels at home at the dog and whistle and is now happy to be part of the Doghouse family.

Luke has defiantly mastered his unique mixing style and has plenty more to bring to the table in the future.
